Weekly Meal Plan 12.2--12.8

December is going to be "Eat from the pantry month" around here!  Somehow the food has accumulated in this house and I see no reason for us not to eat it!  For the month of December we will be eating from our pantry and freezer.  The only items I will need to replenish are perishables.  Otherwise, I have everything in this house to make healthy and nutritious meals.  

I may have to get a few things for Christmas potlucks, but those items will be minimal.  Who wants to join me?  This is a great way to save money during the Christmas season!

Weekly Meal Plan:

Sunday: Roast, mashed potatoes, stuffing
 
Monday: Chili  (I have been CRAVING this.  Now that my Dr. gave me a stronger heartburn med I can eat it again!) :)

Tuesday:  Breakfast sandwiches and apples

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday:  Baked chicken, squash, baked potatoes

Friday: Tomato soup and fruit

Saturday: My nieces 1st B-day party!

  1. Chili does sound good. I've been at a loss for "winter" meals since our weather has been so unseasonably warm.

    1. It has been very hard getting into the groove of making winter meals. It was in the 60's here again today. Normally it would be in the mid 30's. Crazy!
